Youth Empowerment
YWPC partners with the National Formosa University and the Boyo Welfare Foundation to advance youth education and promote sustainable development in Yunlin County.
YWPC remains firm in its commitment to advance youth education in the rural communities of Yunlin County, with a particular focus on elementary and middle school students. Through these efforts, YWPC aims to empower the next generation with the knowledge and skills necessary to address global economic challenges and to play a leading role in the transition towards a low-carbon future.

In 2024, YWPC organized the Yunlin Ocean Festival, a vibrant educational event featuring a diverse array of interactive activities. The event engaged over 600 elementary school students, offering them practical exposure to offshore wind energy and marine conservation topics.

In 2025 YWPC has further strengthened its support for local communities by establishing collaborations with two key regional partners:
  • National Formosa University (NFU): YWPC and NFU have fostered a long-standing partnership centered on promoting coastal tourism and environmental education. Through experiential and science-based learning activities, students from elementary school to university levels are offered the opportunity to deepen their understanding of renewable energy and environmental stewardship.
  • Boyo Welfare Foundation (BWF): This non-profit organization provides after-school academic support to underprivileged elementary and middle school students. YWPC is proud to support BWF’s mission, contributing to the educational development and well-being of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly those raised by grandparents.
By nurturing the potential of local youth and promoting educational opportunities, YWPC is committed to help building a more sustainable, resilient and inclusive future for the people of Yunlin County.
