Yunneng Wind Power Co., Ltd. (YWPC) is proud to announce that the 640 MW Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm (Yunlin OWF) has been officially awarded a Project Certificate according to the most comprehensive level Project Certification Standard (DNVSE0190) by independent global certifier DNV. This milestone is the first of its kind for a Taiwanese offshore wind project and highlights the Yunlin OWF's technical excellence, quality execution, and YWPC's commitment to delivering worldclass clean energy.
This most comprehensive-level certification covers five) critical project phases: Design Basis, Detailed Design, Production, Transport & Installation, and Commissioning. From the first quarter of 2018 through the fourth quarter of 2025—spanning approximately eight years—DNV conducted rigorous assessments combining document reviews at each phase and on-site inspections as soon as production started. The process ensured compliance with international regulations and standards across design integrity, manufacturing quality, construction safety, and projected turbine performance, effectively mitigating risks, enhancing technical execution, and validating operational readiness.
